North Korean Leader executes airport architect because he didn't like the airport design


North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has executed the chief architect of  the  new international Pyongyang airport...This news comes after he was pictured touring the building with his wife last week.
According to reports, the architect was executed because Kim didn’t like the design.
The project is the country’s latest bid to appeal to potential tourists since Kim ascended to power in North Korea three years ago and features a jewellery store, coffee bar, a pharmacy, a chocolate fountain and other luxury amenities.

APC insists on Deputy Senate President Ekweremadu's removal

APC says Deputy Senate president Ike Ekweremadu who is a member of PDP must be removed from office. Senator Ekweremadu who was also the deputy senate president in the last administration, was elected deputy senate president during the controversial senate leadership election on June 9th which produced Senator Bukola Saraki as Senate President.

US gay marriage: Robert Mugabe proposes marriage to Obama

Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe has challenged US President Barack Obama by asking his hand in marriage. His comment comes at the back of the legalization of gay marriage in the US by the Supreme Court.

During Mugabe's weekly radio interview with Zimbabwe’s national radio last Saturday, he said:
“I’ve just concluded since President Obama endorses the same-sex marriage, advocates homosexual people and enjoys an attractive countenance thus if it becomes necessary , I shall travel to Washington, D.C. , get down on my knee and ask Obama’s hand. I can’t understand how these people dare to defy Christ’s explicit orders as our Lord prohibited mankind from sodomy.''

FG orders probe on NNPC over unaccounted N3.8trillion

The Federal government yesterday June 29th constituted a four-man committee to probe NNPC over N3.8 trillion unaccounted for by the corporation in the last three years. According to the Edo state governor, who is part of the 4-man probe committee, investigations by the federal government show that NNPC made N8.1 trillion from 2012-2015, paid N4.3 trillion to the federal government and withheld N3.8 trillion which the management of the corporation have not accounted for.

Driver lies under his bus as VIA officials try to impound his car (photos)


This happened around the Muson Centre/TBS area of Lagos a few minutes ago. The bus driver was stopped for a traffic offense and as LASTMA and VIA officials tried to seize his bus, he went under it and refused to come out, causing traffic on the road. Don't blame him though. Former First Lady, Patience Jonathan's ex-security aide murdered

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tamuno Jacob Igbomie, who was Principal Security Officer to the wife of the former President, Patience Jonathan, has been shot dead by unknown assailants.

Igbomie’s corpse was found in his Honda Accord car last Friday along the Airport Road, Abuja. The former PSO, who was married with two children, was believed to have been killed by assassins who shot him at close range in his car and left the engine running.
A source said the body of the DSP was found early in the morning with all his phones, wallet and other personal effects in tact in the car.

Photo: 18 year old SA teen burnt to death by boyfriend's ex-girlfriend & her friends

According to a report by SA newspaper Sowetanlive, 18 year old Boitumelo Dlamini was taken by four girls into a car, driven to a bush where they poured petrol on her and burnt her to death. One of the girls is the ex-girlfriend of the boy she's dating. Her charred body was found in the bush in Klipgat, North West, on Thursday June 25th.

Boitumelo's boyfriend's ex-girlfriend and three of her friends have been arrested for the crime and are facing murder charges and kidnapping.

Boitumelo , 18, a Grade 12 pupil at Elepsa Secondary School, became romantically involved with Tokelo Makalepho, 24, from her village, six months ago.

Buhari reportedly orders arrest of wife's younger brother for extorting N300m from a businessman

 
According to a report by Sahara Reporters, President Buhari last Monday June 22nd ordered the arrest of one Musa Yola ( pictured above), said to be the immediate younger brother of his wife, Aisha, for extorting N300 million from an unnamed businessman with a promise to secure an oil bloc for him through his brother-in-law, President Buhari. After finding out what happened, President Buhari reportedly ordered that Musa be brought to him in handcuffs along with the said businessman he duped. 

ISIS responds to US legalizing gay marriage by killing four gay men

Four gay men were executed by members of the Islamic State following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to legalize same-sex marriage nationwide on Friday June 26th.

As was reported by a Syrian Twitter user on a tweet posted on the #LoveWins hashtag and picked up by Gateway Pundit, the men were thrown off the roof of a highrise building in the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor as a crowd gathered to watch below.

An Argentinian man named Santiago Lopez Menendez (pictured above), who worked as an agronomist for Nigeria Flour Mills and managed two farms, was kidnapped in Niger state on June 24th. (Read here). Talking to the press after he was rescued, he said footballer Lionel Messi helped save his life. Huh? Funny!

TB Joshua reacts to gay law in USA

Various reactions have come in the wake of America formally legalising gay marriage across the entirety of its borders but one of the most unusual has sprung from a popular Nigerian cleric.

After the historic announcement, T.B. Joshua tweeted a YouTube video showing a young man allegedly receiving ‘deliverance’ from a ‘homosexual demon’.


The clip titled, ‘Deliverance From Homosexual Demon’ shows a Nigerian from Imo State who identified himself as ‘Tedus’ receiving prayer at the church of T.B. Joshua in Lagos, Nigeria.
“I made him gay; I made him love men,” the young man says after being questioned by one of Joshua’s ministers, the clip clarifying that it was an ‘evil spirit’ speaking, which was allegedly behind his homosexual tendencies. Tedus is subsequently ‘delivered’ and later shares his experiences about how the ‘devil’ of homosexuality had possessed him.

A 40 year old Nigerian drug trafficker, Samnneji Chukwuemeka aka Moses Jeffery was arrested by India's Customs officials in New Delhi India on Friday June 26th. Chukwuemeka has been on the radar of the Indian police since 2011 after his attempt to smuggle drugs from India to Holland was foiled.
"He has been under security radar for nearly four years after we foiled his attempt to smuggle 645 grams of brown sugar from Shillong to Holland way back in August 2011 through a courier agency. Man sentenced to 8 years for breaking baby daughter's limbs

A Connecticut man convicted of breaking his 4-month-old daughter's arms, legs and ribs was sentenced to eight years in prison on Wednesday June 24th, and ordered to take anger management classes and undergo a complete mental evaluation.

"You are either evil and a monster or very, very ill,” the trial judge Maria Kahn told the man, Morice Wilkerson, 26, during a hearing in Superior Court in Bridgeport. Wilkerson broke down in tears as he was removed from the courtroom, and relatives also wailed and sobbed.

Wilkerson was convicted last month of third degree assault & risk of injury to a minor, after bringing the infant to a hospital in 2012 with all four limbs and two ribs broken.

 

Benue Assembly bars Channels TV correspondent who covered their fight


The speaker of the Benue state House of Assembly, Hon Terkimbi Ikyange has reportedly barred Channels TV correspondent in the state, Pius Angbo from covering their House Proceedings after releasing the footage where the house members engaged in a free for all fight in the house 2days ago.

In an interview with his colleagues on the station's programme, Sunrise Daily this morning, Pius said he went to the state House of Assembly yesterday June 25th to cover House proceedings but was informed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the House that only accredited journalists will henceforth be allowed to cover events of the state Assembly.

After waiting for one hour and seeing other journalists gaining access into the cambers, he attempted to enter but was stopped by the CPS to the Speaker who told him categorically that the speaker asked that he, Pius, should not be allowed into the House chambers. Pius left the assembly complex afterwards.

Terrorists attack popular beach hotel in Tunisia


This terrorist attack is still underway in Tunisia. At least 27 tourists have been killed and many others are running for their lives in Hotel Riu Imperial Marhaba, a 5-star beach front hotel in Sousse town in Tunisia as gunmen suspected to be Islamic militias stormed the hotel and started shooting at people.

Foreign tourists who were relaxing on the El Mouradi Palm Marina near the hotel were first targeted and killed before gunmen stormed the nearby hotel which is in a quiet remote beach.

Police in Tunisia is currently engaging the gunmen in a fierce gun battle. Just one gunman has so far been killed. Many bodies are said to be lying on the beach. Most of the people killed are believed to be foreigners as the hotel is said to be popular amongst European holiday makers.

This morning's attack follows a similar attack in March, where three terrorists attacked the Bardo National Museum in the Tunisian capital city of Tunis, and took hostages. Twenty-one people, mostly European tourists, were killed at the scene while an additional victim died ten days later.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack, the deadliest involving foreigners in Tunisia since a 2002 suicide bombing on the island of Djerba.

Rotting remains of boy missing for more than a decade found in mother's car boot(Photo)



A mother was discovered with the rotting remains of her teenage son, who went missing more than a decade ago, hidden inside her car boot.Tonya Slayton was pulled over by police in a routine check when they smelled the stench of decomposing flesh coming from her vehicle, Virginia State Police said.

USA Today reports the 44-year-old, of Richmond, was driving a Ford Mustang when she was stopped on the morning of June 6 on Interstate 64 in Hampton.

The trooper noticed a large white spot on the floor behind the driver's seat that Slayton said was from the beach, according to a search warrant.The officer wanted to know what was in the boot and opened it.The mother said there were just clothes in there, but the reality was far more gory.

The Lord's Chosen Pastor robbed and killed in Lagos (photo)


Unknown gunmen on Monday June 22 shot dead the Lagos state Coordinator of The Lord’s Chosen Charis-matic Revival Ministries, Pastor Chukwuemeka Okpokpo, at Apple Junction, Amuwo Odofin area of the state.

According to a report by Vanguard, the gunmen, in a motorcycle, trailed the pastor from a bank where he had gone to withdraw N3million for the church, fired shots into the air, which sent people scampering for safety. Witnesses said Pastor Okpokpo tried to escape when it became obvious that he was the target. He reportedly slowed down on reaching a bad spot in the road, and that was when the hoodlums shot at the tyres of the Chosen vehicle he was driving, which caused the car to stop.

Former Minister faults Buhari's claim of meeting empty treasury, says GEJ left behind $30bn

The immediate past Minister/Deputy Chairman, National Planning Commission (NPC), Dr. Abubakar Sulaiman has faulted President Buhari's claim that the immediate past government left behind an empty treasury.

Pres. Buhari had in a media parley with state House correspondents on Monday June 22nd calimed that his administration met 'virtually an empty treasury'. In a statement released yesterday June 23rd, Dr Suleiman said the Good luck administration left behind $30 billion in the national treasury.

He argued that saying the past government did not leave behind any money implies that revenue generating agencies of the government seized to work before and after the Goodluck administration ended on May 29th .

He signed a 2-year deal with Glo said to be over N100million.

Rappers Naeto C and Lynxxx have been dropped by the telecoms giant. Some ambassadors were dropped because Glo wanted to bring in more guys so they needed to decongest. I hear comedian Bovi, AY, Yoruba actor Odunlade Adekola and actor OC Ukeje have also joined Glo.

Man kills police officer, then 'commits suicide by cop' after leaving last post on Facebook


A 21-year-old man from Cincinnati named Trepierre Hummons (pictured left) fatally shot Sonny Kim, 48 (pictured right) after posting on Facebook that he loved all of his friends and family and thecalled 911 on himself.

Tre twice called the police, telling them that a man with a gun was acting erratically & then described himself in the conversation. The first person to respond to the call was officer Kim, Tre then shot him dead.

Lagos Community Residents Panic Over Decaying Body In State Owned Garden

 



The residents of Ibukun Oluwa Community in the Oworonshoki area say they are scared that a decaying corpse in the Lagos State owned parks and gardens in the area may cause an epidemic.

Speaking with PUNCH Metro, the residents said the corpse had been abandoned at the gardens since Saturday, adding that efforts to get health workers to remove it had been abortive.

They said they feared that the body could blow up if nothing was done on time.

When Punch's correspondent visited the area, he observed that the stench from the corpse had filled the whole community.

And when she developed a strange habit of slumping forward when she laughed, her mum told her: “Stop doing that stupid thing when you laugh. It makes you look silly.” But she couldn’t.
It was only when she started collapsing with no warning that her family sought medical advice that led to a diagnosis of narcolepsy. Soon afterwards, Tonge discovered that her sleeping disorder was very likely to have been triggered by the swine flu vaccine, which she had received in 2009 a couple of months before her symptoms first emerged.

Beninoise cooks poison family just two weeks into employment


A 34-year-old Beninoise man, Victor Hounkpe, who came into Nigeria to serve as a cook in Lagos, has been arrested by the Lagos state police command for drugging his employers just two weeks after her was employed. He did this because he wanted to steal from them.

According to a report by Vanguard, Victor connived with one David Amusu, the former cook of his employers, Omowunmi Fadojutimi and Mr. Nwogu Chinaka to drug them and bring armed robbers into their home to steal. God forbid evil people we bring around us!
On April 22nd, Victor made vegetable soup for his employers who after eating became ill and were rushed to the hospital. The same illness that befell his employers also befell two other domestics staffs in the compound.

Senator denies NASS members will be receiving N8.64bn wardrobe allowance

A member of the National Assembly, Senator Ajayi Borrofice representing Ondo North has come out to deny reports that the National Assembly Members will be given N8.64bn as wardrobe allowance.

Speaking to ThisDay, Senator Borrofice said the controversial N8.64bn to be released to members of the National Assembly is for miscellaneous or regular expenses such as motor vehicle fueling and maintenance, wardrobe, domestic staff, personal assistant, constituency office, house maintenance, utilities and entertainment, among other perks, for the entire 469 lawmakers in the National Assembly.
