A 22-year-old Russian man recently got married to a pizza...yes, you read right. Pizza, that round flat bread usually topped with tomato sauce and cheese and baked in an oven. Except that this particular pizza wore a white wedding veil. The ceremony allegedly took place in the city of Tomsk, Russia, in a pizzeria with chefs and managers as witnesses because Russian authorities refused to officially register the marriage and a church also declined. demonstration of krase! Congo coach Claude Le Roy resigned just hours after securing a place for the country in the final phase of African qualification for the next World Cup, the Congolese Football Federation (FECOFOOT) said on Wednesday.

The 67-year-old Frenchman told officials directly after Congo beat Ethiopia 2-1 in Brazzaville on Tuesday for a 6-4 aggregate triumph that he would be leaving. 

“After two formidable years, I’ve decided to embark on another adventure,” he told local reporters, fuelling speculation he is to take over from Volker Finke as coach of Cameroon.

Michael C. Gross, an artist, illustrator, film producer and personal designer who created two of the most iconic pop culture images of the 20th century — the enduring "Ghostbusters" logo and a dog with a gun to its head for the cover of National Lampoon — has died of cancer at age 70.
Gross died Monday at his Oceanside, California, home, his son, Hollywood cameraman Dylan Goss, told The Associated Press.

The artist, who had survived cancer 30 years before he was given a terminal diagnosis in 2014, said he decided to forgo any life-extending efforts. Instead, he told the AP following the diagnosis, that he would "go down fighting" and launched a darkly comic anti-cancer campaign.

FG bans importation of "I better pass my neighbor" generators

The Federal government has banned the importation a very common brand of generator locally called "I better pas my neighbor". The Controller, Federation Operations Unit Zone A, Lagos of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Madugu Sanni Jubrin, made this known to newsmen yesterday Nov. 17th.

Nigerian Couple Who Kept Nigerian Man As 'Houseboy' Slave For 24 YEARS Face Jail



A top doctor and his wife have have been convicted of keeping a man as a slave for nearly a quarter of a century after bringing him to the UK from Nigeria.

Doctor Emmanuel Edet, 61, and his wife Antan, 58, took Ofonime Sunday Edet, now 40, when he was just 12-years-old from his family without their permission in 1989 before he agreed to the their ‘house boy’.
He was held in “invisible handcuffs” from 1989, too terrified to flee the family-of-four’s home where he slaved away as a “houseboy.”

He had agreed to work for them in exchange for money and education - but the couple paid him just £2-a-week and Ofonime was forced to work for a staggering 17 hours every day for 24 years.
The Edets - who worked as a gynaecologist and senior nursing sister - controlled what the victim wore and when he could leave the house.
