Photo: Nigerian 'footballer' stands trial for delivering drugs in Phnom Penh, Cambodia


The Phnom Penh Municipal Court Cambodia, yesterday, June 7, heard the case of a self-described Nigerian footballer allegedly arrested with 100 grams of methamphetamine in the capital’s Choam Chao commune in January. During the short hearing, the 30-year-old Nigerian national Francis Ihenwe Oderah, confessed to having acted as a delivery man, but asked the court for clemency as he was not a dealer himself.

Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali is dead at age 74

Legendary boxer, Muhammad Ali, 74 who was rushed to a hospital outside Phoenix, Arizona and reportedly on life support after he was found 'barely breathing' at his home on Thursday has died.

Ali was surrounded by his family who rushed to be at his bedside on Friday after doctors warned his condition was 'rapidly deteriorating', Radar Online reported.

Ali was taken to hospital on Thursday with an 'unshakeable cough' which was complicated by his Parkinson's disease. May his soul rest in peace...Amen!

Charge me to court or release me,Femi Fani-Kayode tells EFCC

Femi Fani-Kayode said yesterday that he has met all his bail conditions, that the EFCC should release him or charge him to court. A statement signed yesterday by his media assistant, Jude Ndukwe reads;
This is to refute the false information being peddled by a section of the media that former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, who has remained illegally detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) since May 9, 2016, has not met his bail conditions as set by EFCC. Chief Fani-Kayode has since fulfilled the conditions for his bail but rather than take the honourable path of releasing him pending any charge brought against him, the anti-graft agency moved him from Abuja to Lagos where they obtained a questionable warrant to further detain him illegally for another three weeks.

FG releases list of recovered assets, withholds names of looters
