Iyanya Mbuk, the ‘Waist’ hungry and ‘Kukere’ singer is seriously battling to clear his name from a Facebook fraud that has been perpetrated by some smart alec who have been using the wave-making pop star and Project Fame season 1 winner, to carry out. According to some of his close aides, some people from some south-south states like Akwa Ibom and Cross Rivers States called to state that they gave money to someone who claimed to be Iyanya, to help them purchase electronic items.
The Iyanya camp equally revealed that few days back, a woman called from Uyo and disclosed that she almost paid the sum of $50, 000 to someone who claimed to be Iyanya on Facebook for a show she is packaging but for divine intervention. All these incidences made the serial playboy to cry out, telling his fans and Nigerians that he is not the one carrying out the fraud; “my Facebook name is Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk and my manager is Ubi Franklin.” He also took to social media to tweet on the issue in case anyone still has doubts.
