Pharrell Williams is a married man. The multitalented producer-singer-designer-songwriter wed his longtime girlfriend, model Helen Lasichanh, on Saturday in Miami.
According to Us Weekly, the couple's guests included Usher and Busta Rhymes, who both performed at the wedding. Rap-Up adds that Williams and Lasicanh joined friends and family on a yacht called "Never Say Never" for a portrait session with celebrity photographer Terry Richardson before exchanging vows at the Kampong National Tropical Botanical Gardens. Pharrell was decked out in a bright red tartan tuxedo, while the bride wore a navy plaid gown.
The couple, who have been dating for more than five years and got engaged in July 2012, are parents to a 4-year-old son, Rocket.
Even aside from the wedding, it's been a huge year for Pharrell, with his name attached to seemingly every hit on the charts. The Neptunes producer got things off to a hot start last spring by singing the hook on Daft Punk's "Get Lucky," and hung onto the limelight with Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines." He also had a hand in Miley Cyrus' Bangerz album and Jay Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail.
"I'm just excited about the change, a new wave in music," Williams told Rolling Stone last April at his 40th birthday party. "There's something happening in the ether, and you know about it or you don't. And if you know, it's because you're probably somewhere engineering the change. If you don't know about it then you're probably somewhere missing your call, and you're gonna end up chasing it."
